2025年1月26日，广州著名雕塑家许鸿飞的“肥女”雕塑展首次亮相新西兰，在新西兰奥克兰开幕并展出。
On 26 January, renowned Guangzhou-based sculptor Xu Hongfei launched his “Chubby Women” sculptures at his first New Zealand show in Auckland, New Zealand.
活动当天，新西兰驻广州前任总领事柯瑞秋女士（Ms Rachel Crump）出席了开幕式。活动还包括了来自奥克兰的毛利部落Ngāti Whātua Orakei为许鸿飞及其代表团准备的毛利欢迎仪式，以及与许鸿飞和新西兰本土艺术家的艺术对话活动。
Former New Zealand Consul-General to Guangzhou, Rachel Crump, attended the launch that included a Māori Welcome to Xu and his delegation from Ngāti Whātua Orakei, and an artist panel discussion with Xu and New Zealand based artists.
许鸿飞本次展览还包括了他专程为新西兰设计的最新雕塑作品。

本次展出的“橄榄球”雕塑是为庆祝在2024年巴黎奥运会上获得奥运会冠军的新西兰全黑队女子七人橄榄球队所获得的佳绩。
“Chubby Women Playing Rugby” was designed in recognition of the New Zealand All Black Women’s Rugby Sevens who were crowned the Olympic Champions at the 2024 Olympic Games.

Xu gifted the sculpture to Auckland Council as an acknowledgement of the long-standing people-to-people links between China and New Zealand.

Xu’s Chubby Women exhibition is in New Zealand as part of a world-tour of 64 shows. The series has gained Xu international fame, with his works embracing and celebrating diverse body types and encourage body positivity.

The exhibition also coincided with the 35th anniversary of Auckland-Guangzhou sister-city relations. The Auckland-Guangzhou sister city partnership relationship was established in 1989, and is one of New Zealand’s oldest sister city relationships.
本次“肥女”雕塑展是奥克兰市政府庆祝中国新春佳节的系列活动之一，得到了奥克兰市政府，奥克兰市中心针对性地税（the city centre targeted rate），以及新西兰驻广州总领事馆的支持。
The Chubby Women exhibition was included in the Auckland Council’s Chinese New Year celebrations and was supported by the Auckland Council and the city centre targeted rate, as well as the New Zealand Consulate-General, Guangzhou.
